Uri Hason
President and Founder
Uri Hason is the President and Founder of Pinewood Organization. Founded in 1998, Pinewood is a leading real estate development firm on Long Island. Uri has vast experience in both residential and commercial construction and has a long-standing commitment to using environmentally conscious building methods for his properties.
Uri is a devoted, hardworking real estate developer that leads the industry in innovation, design and craftsmanship. Honing his skills over the years, Uri has garnered a reputation for producing fine homes that include modern materials and finishes, LED lighting, state of the art plumbing, energy efficient HVAC, and Energy Star compliance, with a great attention to detail. With a focus on residential design and construction, Uri promises his clients to make them a house but assures them they will make it a home!
Uri founded Shalom Flooring in 1990, a provider of wood flooring products laying the foundation for exceptional beauty and sophisticated design. Most notably, Uri’s project management and leadership skills lead back to 1982, when he served as an Assistant to the 3rd highest-ranked General in the Israeli military. An active member of the real estate community, Uri is a member of the Long Island Builders Institute (LIBI), the LI Jewish Business Network and the National Association of Home Builders. He has led Pinewood Organization to over a dozen awards for their completed projects, including Builder of the Year and Community of the Year from the Long Island Builders Institute.
David Hason
Vice President
David Hason serves as Vice President of Pinewood Organization, a leading real estate development firm based on Long Island. In his current role, David is responsible for overseeing all new development projects as well as current project management.
With over a decade of industry experience, David handles the financial analysis and due diligence for Pinewood’s prospective new projects, logistical management of current development projects, along with the coordination of sub-contractors, site personnel,
engineers, architects and financial institutions involved with each transaction.
David earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Tulane University in New Orleans. He is an active member of many real estate associations including the Long Island Builders Institute (LIBI) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Additionally, he is involved in several charitable groups such as Mikey’s Movement, where he is a current board member and the Jewish National Fund (JNF), where he is currently a future event host committee member.
